We have listed the best hospitality jobs for you. In no particular order, because of course you know best what suits you!

1. Host/hostess

You, as the host or hostess are the face of the restaurant. Guests will interact with you for most of their visit. You make sure each guest is escorted to the right (reserved) table, take orders and make sure they have a great experience, because at the end of the day, that's what it's all about! A good host/hostess has excellent communication skills and can maintain a friendly attitude from the beginning to the end of your shift.

2. Bartender

Working behind the bar, pouring and mixing drinks for guests. If your passion is making unique cocktails and you have a great knowledge of different drinks, this job is for you. As with any hospitality job, for a bartender the guest experience is key.

3. Chef

The master of the kitchen. That's you! You are good at coming up with new dishes, putting together menus and often leading a team of all kitchen staff in creating these dishes. A job as a chef requires creativity, culinary skills and a sense of leadership.

4. Event planner

As an event planner, you are involved in, as the name implies, planning events such as weddings, parties or conferences, for example. You work closely with your clients to take care of their event down to the last detail and make it a success! Based on the client's wishes, you arrange the venue(s), coordinate suppliers and make sure everything will run smoothly on the day of the event. If you are good at organizing plans, this is definitely for you.

5. Sommelier

Perhaps a slightly lesser-known position. As a sommelier, you are responsible for the selection and presentation of the wines of/in a restaurant. Your extensive knowledge of wine allows you to properly advise guests and help them choose from the best wines. Sharing your passion as a wine lover while getting paid? Become a sommelier!

6. Hotel Manager

As a hotel manager, you keep an overview of the total picture. From making sure guests are happy, to coordinating all departments and managing budgets. Together with the staff, you make sure the hotel looks great and the guest experience is as smooth and hassle-free as possible. Things can always go differently than planned, in which case you'll always work solution-oriented, with the customer's experience as your priority.

7. Barista

The job for coffee connoisseurs and enthusiasts. You brew the best coffee, advise guests and make sure there is a cozy atmosphere in the coffee bar.
